Inside bets sit on the number grid
Straight, split, street, corner and line wagers cover specific numbers on or between the grid positions. The chip location determines coverage, so confirm the highlighted numbers before the betting timer closes.
Outside bets cover groups
Red or black, odd or even, high or low, dozens and columns cover broader groups of outcomes. They have different advertised payouts because they cover different numbers.
Wheel type changes the layout
European and French wheels have one zero, while an American wheel adds a double zero. The table information should also explain any special rules such as La Partage or En Prison when offered.
Position limits may differ
A table maximum does not necessarily mean the same amount can be placed on one number. Open the limit panel for straight-up, split and outside positions before building a multi-chip layout.
Neighbour and special bets need confirmation
Racetrack, neighbours, sectors and announced bets bundle several chips across defined numbers. Review the total stake and every covered position rather than treating the label as one single wager.
